ENJOY THE CULTURE
Over the centuries, Costa Daurada has been home to some of the most emblematic civilisations in human history. Each has left marks on the region's art and culture so indelible and unique that even today they can still be enjoyed and admired. Among the most important examples of this artistic legacy, the ancient Roman heritage sites in Tarragona and Cistercian heritage sites in Poblet stand out. Both have been declared official World Heritage Sites by the UNESCO. Attention should also be called to the legacy of the Modernist movement in Reus, primarily through the city's architecture.
In other art forms, such as music, painting, etc., Costa Daurada has been the birthplace of myriad geniuses, giving the world the likes of Pau Casals, Joan Miró and Antoni Gaudí, among others. We now invite you to discover the most bewitching artistic sites in the region.
