ROUTE POBLET AND THE MOUNTAINS OF PRADES

The route starts at the Poblet monastery. It is the largest Cistercian monastery in the world and a UNECSO World Heritage Site. 

From Poblet the route follows in the direction of the Coll d'Arena Pass (nineteen kilometres, average gradient 3.92%). The ascent to the mountains of Prades, in an area of Natural Interest, to Prades. The place is known as the "Red Place" because of the color of its stones. We also reach Capafonts and then descend to La Riba to return to l'Espluga de Francolí via Montblanc with its impressive medieval walls.
