In L’Hospitalet, agricultural activities have left a deep footprint throughout history. The Molí de Vandellòs is one of the places where you can learn all about it. The building was constructed on a strategic spot, next to the C-44 road between L’Hospitalet de l’Infant and Móra. For decades, extra virgin olive oil was produced in it and now, you can learn about all the tasks in the field and what machinery was used. Above all, be awake, since you’ll be able to listen to actual farmers in a film from the 70s. This journey ends with a tasting of this beloved golden produce: extra virgin olive oil from La Vall de Llors.

If you’d like to know what is the oldest building in L’Hospitalet de l’Infant, you’ll have to visit the Hospital del Coll de Balaguer. It is from the Middle Age, when the village was an actual crossroad for pilgrims going past Coll de Balaguer. Visiting this place is learning, in detail, about the history of L’Hospitalet de l’Infant and its hospitality towards ramblers, thanks to some virtual experiences. Are you in?
